Crockpot Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Stir in milk, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Layer the Ingredients: Spread the batter evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
- Add the Topping: In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
- Pour the Water: Carefully pour boiling water over the top without stirring.
- Cook: Cover and cook on high for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the center is set and the edges pull away from the sides.
- Serve: Turn off the slow cooker and let the cake cool for 15 minutes before serving with a scoop of ice cream.
