Crockpot Ham and Pea Risotto
This creamy risotto combines the savory flavors of ham and the freshness of peas, all made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Arborio rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Combine in Crockpot: Add the Arborio rice, chicken broth, ham, sautéed onion and garlic, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
- Cook on High: Cover and cook on high for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Add Peas: Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the rice is tender and creamy.
- Stir in Cheese: Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
- Serve: Serve hot and enjoy.
