Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
Instructions
- Marinate Chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Add chicken and coat well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Prepare Sauce: In the slow cooker, combine butter, tomato sauce, heavy cream, garlic, and ginger.
- Add Chicken: Place the marinated chicken into the slow cooker and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Finish: Stir the chicken to ensure it's well coated with the sauce before serving.
