Crockpot Spaghetti Squash Marinara

Ingredients
- 1 medium spaghetti squash
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Squash: Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Season and Cook: Drizzle the insides with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and place cut-side down in the crockpot.
- Add Marinara Sauce: Pour the marinara sauce over the squash halves, then add garlic and oregano.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the squash is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.
- Shred the Squash: Carefully remove the squash from the crockpot and use a fork to separate it into strands.
- Serve: Top the shredded squash with marinara sauce from the crockpot, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil if using.
