Ingredients
- 2 cans (20 oz each) young green jackfruit in water, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Prepare Jackfruit: Shred the jackfruit pieces with your hands or a fork to create a pulled texture.
- Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Layer in Crockpot: Place the shredded jackfruit, diced onion, and minced garlic in the crockpot. Pour the sauce mixture over the top and stir to coat.
- Cook: Set the crockpot to low and cook for 4 hours until the jackfruit is tender and flavors are absorbed.
